On a more serious note, SAG’s been a great experience for me. The committee itself is extremely diverse in terms of job title, home library, and experience; between that and the high-level issues we’ve been asked to deal with, I’ve learned a tremendous amount over the last several months. It’s a phenomenal group.

Birthday fruit selection

Yesterday I went to the opening of the awesome “Charles Darwin: After the Origin” exhibition going down at Cornell’s Rare and Manuscript Collection. Naturally, the way my mind free associates now means I immediately thought of this.

Library school has changed my brain.
